what to do with a three ring set during engagement period?
My boyfriend (i guess fiancee now) proposed yesterday with a beautiful three ring set. I really want to wear all three right now but everyone keeps telling me I can’t because one is a wedding ring. Makes sense, but if one is a wedding ring what’s the other for and when do i get to wear it, according to tradition (or jewelers).
One ring is your wedding band nad should only be put on the day of your wedding. Don’t forget to move your engagement ring to your right hand the day of. The wedding band always sits closest to your heart.
The second is your engagement ring and the ONLY ONE you should be wearing right now!!! After the ceremony you slip you engagement ring back on top of you new wedding band.
The third is usually an anniversary band and should be put away until at least your first wedding anniversary. This goes on the last.
